We’ve also been supplying our delicious cakes and flapjacks to Creative Intentions, who put on events such as open mic tents at numourous festivals up and down the country, all obviously with plenty of cake!

Skelton Grange Event!

Skelton Grange invited us to cater for a conference they were holding. We supplied an array of salads from quinoa with mint and chilli, to mixed bean, puy lentil, to a raw salad of beetroot, carrot and brocolli. Served with tzatziki, olives, capers and toasted sunflower seeds! And that was just to get started!

Next we invited people to ‘build your own pizza’, where you could choose from a variety of toppings including: courgette, onion, pepper, mushroom, spinach and olives, plus two different sauces for the base! This was then baked in the dragon cob oven, which was built by volunteers last year. In total 24 pizzas were baked, wow!

For those with a little space left for some cake could choose from our: lemon drizzle cake, sticky stem ginger loaf, various sorts of flapjack, fruit chocolate gateau and tiramisu gateau. Yummy!

Thanks to all the helpers at Skelton Grange and all the volunteers!

Change in ingredients!

We have been trying to source our ingredients differently, partly to fit in with our own personal ethics, and also to stimulate local economy, so the money goes to the smaller producers and retailers. As these are our personal choices, which originally lead us down the path of vegan baking, we thought it only right to reflect this in our business too. We are also working on sourcing more fairtrade and organic products too!!!

Unfortunately, we have no current plans to put on any market stalls. But when we have organised our time, you may see us waving our flags at some point in the future!

Keep in touch and up to date!
